Law enforcement reports
Recent reports from the Motley Police Department (MPD) and the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) included the following:
May 27 - The MPD assisted at the scene of a vehicle accident on Hwy 10 S in Motley. The driver, Jackson Hill, 33, was issued a citation for not having a valid license.
May 29 - The MCSO received a report of a theft of a 2005 30’ Keystone Sprinter pull behind camping trailer from Bid-2-Buy in Motley. Value is approximately $11,000. The keys to the camper trailer are in the store and the camper was locked. The owner of the camper trailer was notified.
May 29 - The MCSO received a call from Cass County regarding an ATV crash in Wilderness Park. Motley Rescue was paged.
May 27 - The MCSO received a call from someone stating they received a tip regarding some guns that were buried on property in the Enchanted Lakes area in Cushing. According to the caller, he had overheard the person who buried the guns say that the guns had been used in a burglary years before. Caller was unsure where the thefts had occurred, or the exact location of the guns.
