Man injured in one-vehicle accident in rural Motley

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Jan. 12, at approximately 5:30 p.m., their office received a call of a one vehicle accident with injuries on Azalea Rd. near Dove Rd.
According to their report, 37-year-old Joshua Solem of Grand Rapids was traveling east on Azalea Rd. when he drove off the roadway and hit a sign. Solem was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd by North Ambulance with unknown injuries. Solem’s vehicle, a 2008 Ford pickup, sustained minor damage.
The MCSO was assisted on scene by Pillager Area Fire Protection Association Team and North Ambulance.
