Morrison County law enforcement
Recent reports from the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) included the following:
May 24 - The MCSO received a report of a swamp fire on 260th St., less than two miles west of Hwy 10 in Cushing. Randall Fire was paged and the DNR was contacted as well.
May 24 - The MCSO received a call from an employee at Orton’s BP in Motley. Caller reported that while she was working someone stole her purse out of her car.
May 23 - The MCSO received a call regarding a property line dispute between two parties residing at the 1200 block of Lincoln Beach Rd. in Cushing.
May 21 - The MCSO issued a speeding citation to Lila May Ling Chu, 27. She had been traveling northbound on Hwy 10 and was stopped near Morrison Line Rd. in Motley.
May 17 - The MCSO received a call from a resident on 290th St. in Cushing stating that his neighbor has been shooting very frequently and uses a large amount of tannerite which shakes his house. Law enforcement spoke with the neighbor who admitted to the shooting and agreed to back off on the shooting as well as the tannerite.
May 13 - The MCSO responded to a welfare concern near the 26000 block of Hwy 10 in Cushing.
