Thanks from Kuwait

Motley Elementary Principal Deb Ferdon accepts a flag from Capt. Adam Reidel of the Minnesota National Guard, representing the 682nd Engineer Battalion, stationed in Kuwait, and their commander, Keith Ferdon, Deb’s husband. Motley Elementary students sent Valentine’s Day cards and gifts to the battalion in February and as a thank-you, the 682nd flew the flag over their base in Kuwait and sent it back to Motley. The students watched the presentation on May 23.
