Children’s author visit

Children’s author Catherine Urdahl will be at the Staples Public Library Thursday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Children’s Reading Roundhouse. Urdahl is the author of two children’s picture books - “Polka-dot Fixes Kindergarten” and “Emma’s Question.” She is a 2008 graduate of the Loft Master Track program in children’s literature and a 1984 graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield. She wrote and illustrated her first book at age eight and has always loved reading. She is married and has two daughters and a pet rabbit. All are welcome to attend.
