Lamp Camp set for July 11-22

Instructors for the two-week camp are Justin Edin, artistic and drama director; Sam Fujii, music director; and Roseanne Reed, choreographer.
According to a press release, the directors “will help each student to discover their own unique gifts and to develop a passion for theater while providing the tools and resources needed for them to be successful.”
The camp is sponsored by Lamplighter Community Theatre and runs daily (excluding the weekend) from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Ages eight - 12 meet from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and ages 13 - 18 meet from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. Campers are encouraged to attend the full two-weeks, but there is an option to attend only one week. Some scholarships are available.
“Join us as we explore the music and different perspectives of Beauty and The Beast, Goldilocks and The Three Bears, Peter Pan and more,” Edin said.
A free public performance will be held Friday, July 22, at 7 p.m., at Centennial Auditorium.
