Picconattos to speak at Missions Conference
Mike and Elissa Picconatto will be speaking at the 2017 Missions Conference at Staples Alliance Church Friday, Sept. 22 - Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Since 2012, the Picconattos have been serving as missionaries in Germany. Prior to that, Mike served as senior pastor at Staples Alliance Church for nearly 10 years. He and Elissa, along with their three children, are currently on furlough and living in Staples until they return to Berlin in July, 2018.
“The purpose of our annual missions conference, as always, is to celebrate how God is working among people of all nations and to ask Him to keep on using us to impact other nations,” said Pastor Bob Hepokoski. “We have a long history of praying and supporting missionary work, but this year is special, because we welcome back Mike and Elissa who are still members of our church.”
Conference events include:
o Young adult gathering Friday, Sept. 22, 6 p.m., at The Swehla home in Pillager.
o Men’s breakfast with Mike, Saturday, Sept. 23, 8:30 a.m.
o Women’s supper with Elissa, Saturday, Sept. 23, 5 p.m.
o Sunday morning worship, Sept. 24, 9:30 a.m. Mike will speak at the worship service; and both he and Elissa will be presenters at the subsequent Sunday School classes.

o AWANA Club, Wednesday, Sept. 27, 6:15 p.m., at the church. Mike and Elissa will be the featured Council Time speakers.
