The Central Minnesota Boys Choir helped clean Pine Grove Park up May 12. The choir organizes a day of service each year as a way to build comradery among members and to give back to the communities that support them. This year, the choir put on their work gloves, cleared branches, brush and garbage at Pine Grove Park.
Led by director Mary Moen, the choir is made up of boys in grades 3-7, from throughout the area. Its primary goal is to develop musical interest, leadership skills and talent in its members. The choir’s final concert for this season will be June 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Staples. More information about the choir can be found at www.centralmnboyschoir.com.
