Staples firefighters will ‘never forget’
The “9/11 Never Forget” mobile exhibit passed through Staples escorted by the Staples Firefighters June 8 on its way to Detroit Lakes where the exhibit was open for public viewing. The traveling museum is a tribute reminding citizens of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

The side of the mobile exhibit displays the United States flag along with the words “Never Forget”. This is the second visit to Minnesota for the exhibit. The first was in 2015. The exhibit was part of the Minnesota State Fire Department Association Convention in Detroit Lakes.
The 53-foot tractor-trailer opens into a 1,000 square foot exhibit providing interactive education of artifacts, steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, recordings of first responders, radio transmissions and live tours by FDNY firefighters.
