Two arrested in Wadena meth investigation

On June 23, the Wadena County Sheriff’s Dept., along with the Ottertail County Sheriff’s Dept. and agents from the West Central MN Drug and Violent Offender Task Force, arrested Jennifer Kay Ehrmantraut, 27, of Sebeka, on 1st degree sale of a controlled substance, 1st degree possession of a controlled substance, and endangerment of a child. 

Through investigation, task force agents learned Ehrmantraut sold methamphetamine in the city of Wadena. Ehrmantraut was arrested on a traffic stop south of Sebeka and was found to be in possession of more than 40 grams of methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. Two small children were also in the vehicle with Ehrmantraut when she was arrested.

Also arrested in connection with this case was Angela Rae Tollefson, 39, of Perham, on 1st degree sales of a controlled substance.

Ehrmantraut was taken to the Wadena County Jail and felony charges were filed by the Wadena County Attorney’s Office on June 24.  Tollefson was transported to the Ottertail County Jail, where charges are expected to be filed by the Ottertail County Attorney’s Office.
