Wadena County appoints new deputy auditor/treasurer
At the Oct. 18 meeting, the Wadena County Commissioners appointed Curtis Bryniarski to serve as deputy auditor/treasurer, at the request of Auditor/Treasurer Judy Taves. The appointment was made effective immediately.
Bryniarski had been serving the county in the position of staff accountant since he was hired earlier this year.
The position of deputy auditor/treasurer has been vacant for more than a year.
In other business, the board
o Was introduced to new Social Services case aide Nicole Rubbelke.
o Accepted the resignation of eligibility worker Cheryl Hahn.
o Denied a request from an employee for time-in-service credit for an earlier period of county employment.
The November meetings of the county board will depart from the usual pattern of meeting on the first three Tuesdays of the month at 9 a.m. Instead, the board will meet at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1; Monday, Nov. 7; and Wednesday, Nov. 16; and at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
