Notice is hereby given that on Thursday August 31, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. the Todd County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the Commissioner’s board room, 215 1st Ave. South, Long Prairie, Minnesota to consider the following Variance applications:
1. Todd Bussman: LOT-3 BLK-1 Bitz Subdivision (23 & 26-127-33)

Variance to reposition and expand on existing retaining wall structures located on lot at 12, 22, 24, and 48 feet from ordinary high water level. Replacement retaining walls will be from 3 feet to 4 feet in height and located within the shore impact zone and in an area with severe steep slopes.

Variance request to exceed the 18 foot maximum height to 24 feet in height for a proposed 60 foot by 34 feet storage shed located in shoreland zone of Dower Lake.

Variance request to reduce the setback to the ordinary high water level from 100 feet to 94 feet for proposed 24 foot by 26 foot garage.

Variance requests required to change foot print of existing boathouse 16 feet by 22 feet partially on an adjoining parcel. To remodel the existing boathouse 4 feet longer (26 feet) and 3 feet narrower (13 feet).
1) Variance to place water oriented accessory structure at 5 feet from OHWL instead of required 50 feet.
2) Variance to construct 338 sq ft water oriented structure instead of 250 sq foot standard.
3) Variance to construct boathouse 1 foot from property line instead of 10 feet standard.

Variance request to decrease the setback of 100 feet from the ROW of US 71 to 70.5 feet to allow addition to existing place of business.

1.) Variance request to decrease the 100 foot setback to 75 feet to replace an existing cabin with a 26 foot by 33 foot cabin with 2.) Exceed the maximum impervious for non-roofed surfaces 3.) Variance to exceed the 18 foot height limit within the building setback from the OHWM to 25.5 feet.

RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the work described below will be received at the Office of the Clerk/Treasurer, City of Motley, 316 Highway 10 S, Motley, MN 56466 until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the parcels described in the List of Tax-Forfeited Land that is contained herein shall be sold to the highest bidder at public sale. The sale will be governed by the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 282.01 and by the resolution of the Todd County Board of Commissioners authorizing such sale. The resolution reads as follows:
BE IT RESOLVED, that all parcels of tax-forfeited land listed on the List of Tax-Forfeited Land be classified as nonconservation land; that the basic sale price of each parcel on List of Tax-Forfeited Land, that is on file with the Clerk of the County Board, be approved and authorization for a public sale of this land be granted, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 282.01; that the sale will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2017, by the Todd County Auditor/Treasurer at the Commissioner board room in the Historical Courthouse, for not less than the basic sale price; and that all sales shall be full payment or on the terms set forth on the List of Tax-Forfeited Land.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the conditions and terms of the public sale shall be as described in the list of Tax-Forfeited Land contained here-in and approved by the Todd County Board of Commissioners.
