EVERGREEN HILL CEMETERY

 

NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS: Evergreen Hll Cemetery, Staples, MN will be cleaning flowers off gravesties Oct. 1 through Oct. 15. Anyone wishing to save their flowers must have them removed by Oct. 1, 2020.

Holiday decorating may begin on Oct. 16. Remember, holiday decorations must be removed 10 days after the holiday.

LSS Meals hereby solicits sealed bids for meals in Clarissa, MN. Any interested bidder may obtain more information by calling 218-233-7521 or writing to LSS Meals, 3101 S. Frontage Rd. Ste. 100, Moorhead, MN  56560. All proposals for furnishing said meals should be marked as a bid on the envelope and must be received at the above address, no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2020 at which time and place all bidding shall be considered closed and all bids received shall be publicly opened and read aloud. 

The right is reserved by LSS Meals to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any formalities in any bid received or procedure set forth herein and to make the award in the best interest of the project.

VILLARD TOWNSHIP GRADING and SNOW REMOVAL BIDS

 

The Township of Villard is asking for separate quotes for grading, snow removal, salt/sand application:

•Grading is for approximately 17 miles of gravel roads.

•Snow plowing is for approximately 38.5 miles of town roads, including gravel and tarred town roads.

Villard Township is asking for a “First Serve” basis for snow plowing. COntractor must have the noted below equipment to provide this service and all equipment and maintenance of equipment is the responsibility of the contractor. Any mobilization costs need to be included in your quote. A Snow and Ice Control Policy has been established by the Villard Township Board of Supervisors and a copy will be provided for the contractor. A current Certificate of Liability must accompany all quotes.

All town roads will need to be graded at least once per month and, depending upon the weather, it may be required to grade more often.

The contract will run from June 1, 2021 - May 31, 2023.

•Quote for grading of Township roads (Equipment required is a grader)

•Quote for Snow Plowing of Township roads (Equipment required: plow truck with wing, plow truck with salt/sand spreader, grader with snow wing)

 

Quotes will be accepted by the Villard Township Clerk by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Quotes will be accepted by hand delivery or mailed to the Town Clerk (31836 Timberlane Road, Staples Mn.  56479) or scanned and e-mailed to marykoenig169@gmail.com. (Call the clerk at 218-640-6115 before hand delivering your quote to make sure I’m home). 

The Villard Township Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the township.
