Construction at BRICKS

BRICKS Travel Center in Motley is in the process of installing a new diesel island with satellite pumps in the back of their establishment. They will also now have DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) at the pump to accommodate diesel engines 2010 and newer. Gas and diesel pumps for automobiles will continue to be located up front along with the addition of off road diesel for farm and construction use. A new entrance for truck drivers is also part of the construction plans. First steps in the construction process included dewatering at the site and relocating power lines. The new diesel pumps will allow truck drivers to fuel their vehicles in a third of the time it takes them presently. Owners Joe, Susie and Pat Brichacek said that plans for this project have been in the works for over a year. Construction is estimated to be completed by the end of August.
