Law enforcement reports

 (MCSO) included the following:

May 10 - The MCSO received a call regarding a panic alarm at Motley Elementary School. Upon their arrival, law enforcement checked the area and did not find anyone around. The alarm company was contacted and advised to cancel.

May 8 - Lincoln Gas and Bait, Cushing, called the MCSO to report a gas drive-off in the amount of $40. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted and he said he would be there within the hour to pay for the gas. 

May 8 - The MCSO received a call regarding a public safety issue at a lake near the 2100 block of Pine View Blvd. in Motley. Caller stated there was a boat lift in the water where boats travel and that only a part of the wheel on the lift was visible.  In addition, the caller said there was “a bunch of stuff” on the shore and in the water by the shore. Law enforcement attempted to contact the owner of the boat lift, James Thatcher, but were unsuccessful. They also placed a danger buoy by the lift.
