Motley Police Department, MCSO reports

Recent reports from the Motley Police Dept.(MPD) and the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) included the following:

Feb. 9 - The MPD responded to a call to assist the MCSO at a residence on Morrison St. E in Motley.

Feb. 4 - Konrad Alexander of Motley notified the MPD of a PayPal scam. Alexander said he had listed a tractor for sale on Craigslist and was contacted by Nelda Wallace of Greenville, SC., who wanted to purchase it. Wallace asked Alexander to send $1,500 via Western Union to cover shipping and handling; and that she would then send him the rest of the money to purchase the tractor. 

Feb. 7 - The MCSO received a complaint from the Castaway Supper Club in Cushing regarding a fight between some customers. One of the customers (who was intoxicated) had been asked to leave. No one was hurt.

Feb. 5 - Deputy Yoder met the Staples Police Department in Motley, picked up Jasmin Line (who had a body only warrant) and transported her to the Morrison County jail.
