Motley Police, MCSO reports
Recent reports from the Motley Police Department (MPD) and the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) included the following:
Feb. 7 - The MPD arrested Dennis Vasquez, 23, for DUI.
Feb. 6, 7 - The MPD issued speeding citations to Michael Unger, 29; Mark Ritchie, 58.
Feb. 3 - The MPD responded to a report of a theft at Auger’s Motley Express. According to the report, an adult male and a child came in to the store, paid for gas and some other items and then went back to their car. The adult then returned, took a gallon of milk and a soda and ran back to his car and drove away.
Feb. 3 - The MPD received a call from the parent of a fifth grader at Motley-Staples Middle School, upset about some bullying that was taking place at the school. Chief Ron Smith proceeded to speak with the school principal about the matter; and the principal said he is aware of the problem and is addressing it.
Feb. 2, 3 - The MPD issued speeding citations to Taylor Denny 24; Kelsey Hales, 29.
Feb. 4 - The MCSO received a report of vandalism in the men’s restroom at BRICKS Travel Center in Motley.
Feb. 4 - The MCSO received a call regarding disorderly conduct at the Ten Hi Bar in Motley.
