Motley Police, Morrison County Sheriff’s reports
Motley Police Department (MPD) and the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) included the following:
Oct. 17 - The MPD received a report of a gas drive-off at Auger’s Motley Express.
Oct. 14 - 16 - The MPD issued speeding citations to Jacob Feldt, 25; Noah Anderson, 21; Thomas Reisinger, 51; Jamesha Sheffel 24; Brea Welter, 28; Zachary Trembley, 21; Cody Thibault, 24; Tyler Holmstrom, 20; Heather Apps, 42; Michael Battaglini, 41; and a citation to Cole Rennecke, 21, for not wearing a seat belt.
Oct. 19 - The MCSO received a call from Kenneth Johnson reporting he had struck a deer while driving at Dove Rd. and 340th St. in Cushing. A passerby, Toby Schrupp, said he would like the deer.
Oct. 19 - The MCSO met with a Wadena County deputy at BRICKS Travel Plaza in Motley and took custody of Joshua Stansbury on a body only warrant out of Morrison County. He was transported to Morrison County Jail.
Oct. 17 - The MCSO received a call from Jesse Oothoudt reporting a stolen pontoon trailer at a residence on Cottonwood Rd. in Cushing.
Oct. 16 - The MCSO received a call regarding a blue Dodge truck with no plates parked in the back of a corn field on 70th Ave. in Cushing. Deputy Al Yoder arrived at the scene and found a plate on the inside of the truck and after running the numbers it came back stolen out of New York Mills.
Oct. 15 - Kyle Kalis called the MCSO to report that someone had siphoned about five gallons of diesel fuel out of one of their Action Docks trucks the night before. The incident occurred on Azure Rd. in Cushing.
Oct. 15 - The MCSO issued a speeding citation to Kerrie Derks, 54. While making contact with the driver, the deputy noticed a glass paraphernalia pipe on the dash. He received consent to search the vehicle but did not find anything more. The pipe was disposed of at the sheriff’s office.
Oct. 15 - The MCSO received a report of gas theft at Orton’s BP in Motley.
Oct. 14 - The MCSO issued a speeding citation to Don Heimer, 27.
