Motley Police, Morrison County Sheriff’s reports
Recent reports from the Motley Police Department (MPD) and the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) included the following:
Nov. 9 - The MPD arrested Patrick Case, who had several warrants. The officer reported observing a sedan pulling into the driveway at Case’s residence and that the driver resembled Case. Upon identifying Case, who had entered a pole shed behind a fence, the officer asked him to come forward but he was slow to comply. Case eventually climbed over the fence to approach the officer and was subsequently handcuffed and transported to the Morrison County Jail.
Nov. 7 - The MPD responded to a report of fire at the Eastwood Inn Apartments in Motley. Fire department was unable to locate the fire.
Nov. 4 - The MPD issued speeding citations to Eric Moser, 20; and Dakota Johnson, 22; and a citation to Cassandra Holmen, 24, for not moving over and passing within a foot of the officer who was returning to his squad vehicle.
Nov. 3 - The MPD assisted Cass County in the arrest of a group home resident that assaulted staff. The incident occurred on the 7000 block of 124th St. SW in Motley.
Nov. 7 - The MCSO received a report of a theft at the 4000 block on 290th St. in Cushing. Caller reported that he is a shareholder in the Cushing Land Company and on Oct. 27, someone entered the premises at the listed location and stole from him a number of items including a Husqvarna chainsaw, valued at $359. No suspects at this time.
