Several construction projects underway in Motley
Gary Christensen (left) and his father, Roger Christensen, with G & L Builders of Ottertail, were at work Sept. 23, putting up new storage units at the corner of Eledredge and Hwy 10 in Motley. The project, featuring 32 storage units, is estimated to be completed by mid-October, according to owner Steve Bickford of Motley. In 1990, Bickford had built a car wash at that location; but he said he decided to tear it down due to a lack of business. “I work for UPS and I’ve seen that there is a need for storage units, so I decided to give that a try,” Bickford said, adding that he plans to build storage units in Pillager sometime next spring.
