AgCentric to host Food Access Summit
AgCentric will host the 2016 Central Minnesota Food Access Summit, Dec. 15, at Central Lakes College Staples campus from 8:30 a.m. -3 p.m.
Community members from across the region are invited to:
o Discuss and learn about food access issues facing area residents.
o Share and learn about available resources to help address these issues.
o Make connections to help find solutions.
Breakout session topics may include: Senior Fruit and Veggie; Minnesota Food Charter and Minnesota Good Food Access Fund; CSA Rx Projects-Access to Health through Food; SHIP 101; Public Health Law Center; SPROUT Food Hub and Marketplace; Extension SNAP-Ed; Central Lakes College Research and Demonstration Projects - featuring gleaning; Rural Grocery Research and Projects in Central MN; Grant Research and Writing; Regulations and Food Safety Best Practices.
