Children and adult programs offered at Staples Public Library
The Staples Public Library is offering the following programs:
Reading Roundhouse Storytime - Jan. 11
The Staples Public Library is offering a Reading Roundhouse Storytime for children from pre-K to second grade on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 10:30 to 11:00 p.m. Enjoy a fun storytime with flannel boards and activities. Attendance is limited and registration is required.
Lego Builders - Jan. 12
Children ages 5 to 13 are invited to join the Lego Builders at the Staples Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 12, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a fun hour of block building using an assortment of Lego and large blocks provided. The library will provide some Lego challenges and a snack, and each child will receive something special to take home. Attendance is limited and registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Staples Friends of the Library.
Arm Knitting with Jen Anfinson - Jan. 12
Adults and teens 15 and older are invited to a creative crafting class featuring Arm Knitting at the Staples Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 12, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Artist Jen Anfinson will show the group how to knit using your arms as the knitting needles. Each participant will make an eternity scarf using this yarn and technique in class. Attendance is limited and registration is required. This event is funded in part by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
