Children and adult programs offered at Staples Public Library

The Staples Public Library is offering the following programs:

Minnesota Workforce Center Visit – Feb. 2

A Workforce Center staff person will be available at the Staples Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2-4 p.m. to assist adult job seekers with resumes, accessing online job sites, and other one-on-one assistance.

Reading Roundhouse Storytime – Feb. 8

Preschool through grades two children are invited to a Reading Roundhouse Storytime at the Staples Public Library on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 10:30-11 a.m. Enjoy a fun storytime with flannel boards and activities. Attendance is limited and registration is required. 

Lego Builders – Feb. 9

Children ages 5 to 13 are invited to a Lego Builders program at the Staples Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 9, 4:30-5:30 p.m. The library will provide an assortment of Legos and large blocks. Children will be asked to apply their imagination to tackle some Lego challenges. A snack will be provided. Attendance is limited and registration is required. This event is sponsored by the Staples Friends of the Library.

The Staples Public Library is located at 122 6th St. NE, Staples. The hours are: Mon. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tue. 2-8 p.m., Weds. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Thurs. 2-8 p.m., Fri. 1-5 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
