Community input needed for comprehensive plan
As the City of Staples creates their updated comprehensive plan, they are interested in gathering input from local residents and business owners. The Community Input Survey is one of the tools they are utilizing to collect this information.
Two surveys are open now and close on July 10. The general community survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9QMKGHC and the Parks, Open Spaces and Trails survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KPG85V3.
Staples residents are also welcome to provide comments and input on the new comprehensive plan at the three Meet Your Neighbors Block Parties being hosted by the Thriving Communities Initiative. Community members are invited to bring a side dish and share a meal with neighbors, as well as Staples’ firemen and police officers. There will be games, kids’ activities, bounce house and more.
