Holiday fun at the library

Gingerbread was the theme during story time at the Staples Public Library on Dec. 8. Children and parents made gingerbread houses and during the monthly storytime the kids read stories about the gingerbread man that ran away. For snacks they frosted gingerbread cookies and decorated them. These programs were sponsored by the Staples Friends of the Library.
The next Reading Roundhouse Storytime for preschoolers will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11. Call 218-894-1401 to preregister.
