SEaM Camp to be held at CLC this summer
Spaces are filling up quickly for two summer camps held at Central Lakes College. The Nitro X Camp on the Brainerd campus and the SEaM Camp on the Staples campus. Each camp is first come, first served.

Nitro X Camp
Will be held June 13-17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Central Lakes College Brainerd campus. It is open to students entering 5th-8th grades.
Campers will work with a remote control car while learning about other forms of transportation, design (paint), body of the car, gain exposure to the transportation industry through tours of various local businesses, all the while working in teams to develop team building. Students will compete in time trials.
SEaM Camp
Will be held July 11-15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m at Central Lakes College Staples campus for students entering 6th through 12th grades. A bus will be available for students from Brainerd to attend camp in Staples each day. 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. (The bus will leaveBrainerd at 8 a.m.).
Campers will build a bot with a team members over the course of the week. They will have the opportunity to experience hands-on electronics, motor, computer aided drafting, manufacturing machining and robotics automated systems.
Students will compete in obstacle course, bot hockey/soccer and a demolition derby on the final day of the camp.
