Lakewood now offering midwifery in Browerville

Jennifer Waytashek, certified nurse midwife, has recently begun to see patients at Lakewood Health System’s Browerville clinic. 

Waytashek will be providing primary and pregnancy care for women, which includes annual physicals, Pap smears, general health concerns and the treatment of yeast and urinary tract infections.

Originally from the Harding/Pierz area.  Waytashek completed her undergraduate work at Chamberlain College of Nursing and received her midwifery certification from Frontier Nursing University. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the Association of Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses and the American Association of Birth Centers.

As a midwife, Waytashek enjoys all aspects of women’s health, wellness and education; and empowering women to understand their bodies and their choices in healthcare. She has a special interest in infant care, breastfeeding support and post-partum care.
