LHS Foundation raised $49,800 for kids
The Lakewood Health System Foundation held its 23rd Annual Foundation Dinner Auction April 15, raising $49,800 in “Healthy Hawaii”. The money raised will go towards funding the awareness and promotion of LHS programs that will ensure the health and well-being of children in the community.
Surpassing their goal of raising $35,000, the audience of 160 guests participated in silent and live auctions, dinner and entertainment provided by comedian and magician Jared Sherlock. Fifteen LHS departments donated baskets for the silent auction, with the Motley Clinic team winning the employee vote for best basket.
Those interested in attending next year’s dinner keep April 7, 2017 in mind. For information on this event, or the Lakewood Foundation, contact Megan Kruse at 218-894-8508 or megankruse@lakewoodhealthsystem.com.
