Student Achievements

North Dakota State University, Fargo  has announced its Fall 2015 Dean’s List. To qualify, students must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least nine credits. Local students named include:

o Cushing - Jonathan Nypan, Mechanical Engineering; Joshua Warren, Computer Engineering.

o Motley - Dawn Swartz, Microbiology.

o Pillager - Luke Unger, Microbiology.

o Staples - Jaelin Beachy, Biological Sciences; Kathryn DeGeest, Manufacturing Engineering; Elisabeth Dukowitz, Sociology; Brent Hepokoski, Mathematics; Timothy Hepokoski, Computer Science; Logan Swendsrud, Psychology.

Minnesota State Community and Technical College   has announced its President’s List for the 2015 Fall Semester. To qualify, students must complete 12 or more college-level credits for the semester with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Local students named include:

o Motley - Tiffany Wierenga

o Pillager - Courtney Dumpprope, Torri Thompson

o Staples - Kayla Benson, Britteny Kylander, Sharon Long, Nathan Schimpp, Robbyn Watland, BethAnn Wolters Daly.

Minnesota State University Moorhead   has announced its Dean’s List for the 2015 Fall Semester. To qualify, students must maintain a 3.25 or higher grade point average and carry 12 graded credits. Local students named include:

o Motley - Kali Klimek, Theatre Arts, Advertising and Public Relations; Carly Leavell, East Asian Studies, Teaching English as a Second Language; Sarah Neururer, Psychology.

o Pillager - Carly Bell, Elementary Inclusive Ed.; Tonya Ehlers, Health Services Admin.; Jesslyn Johnson, Elementary Inclusive Ed.; Sarah Martin, BFA Studio Art.

o Staples - Josie Nanik, Communication Studies; Andrew Nelson, Music Industry, Jazz Studies; Zachary Schmitz, Health Services Administration.

Benjamin Thoele  Pillager, has been named to the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2015 at the University of Minnesota Duluth. To qualify, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
