Todd County Historical Society meeting notes
The Todd County Historical Society met Oct. 3 in the museum.
The museum director’s report included:
o Thanks to all who helped with the waffle fundraiser.
o The sensors and keypad for the security system have been installed. Cameras will be installed soon.
o The Leslie Community Church organ has been delivered.
o A new lock has been installed on the door in the farm room.
o Workers are being sought for Law Enforcement Appreciation Days. A lunch will be available and music will be provided by Orv Dahlen. All of Todd County Law Enforcement have been invited.
o Autumn dinner tickets must be sold by Oct. 10. Hats Off Coffee will donate the coffer and several members have volunteered to decorate.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m., Nov. 7 in the museum.
Following the meeting Henry Herickhoff of Sauk Centre, who was born in Germany, talked about his memories of WWII when he was six to 10 years old.
