Grass fire in Villard Township

The Staples Fire Department were at the scene of a grass fire in Villard Township April 22, working for approximately two hours. According to firefighter Scott Yungbauer, close to four acres were burned, as well as a stack of firewood. The incident took place off of 321st Ave., near the home of Greg and Diane Johnson.
