Judith Bremer
Judith Irene Bremer, 83, of Monticello, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2025, with her beloved dogs, Willow and Lily, faithfully by her side.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 7 p.m. with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 Broadway St. E., Monticello, MN. 763-295-2918. www.peterson-grimsmochapel.com. Dinner will be served after the service at the chapel.
For entertainment and enjoyment, Judy loved gardening, gambling, fishing, going to lunch with her friends, playing cribbage and just plain “BS-ing” around.
Judy’s love for children was evident. Not only was she a devoted homemaker who raised her own five children, but she also worked for over 20 years as a paraprofessional in the Monticello School District. In addition, she farmed - raising cows, chickens, pigs and many small animals throughout her lifetime.
Surviving four children, Joe Jr. (Jody) Bremer of Maple Lake, Tony (Deb) Bremer of Monticello, Sarah (Greg) Greene of Milaca and Troy (Beth) Bremer of Maple Lake; 14 grandchildren, Alexis Bremer (Mike), Meghan Sonsteby (Bobby), Erika Sonsteby (Joe), Lucas Bremer (Brooke), Dan Sieg (Laura), Jake Sieg, Kevin Sieg, Jenny Sieg, Bo Bremer, Hank Bremer, Hugh Landman, Lily Landman, Chad Starr and Chelsey Starr; four great-grandchildren, Chloe, Henry, Jack and Colton; one sister, Jeanne “Auntie” Wolfe and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends - and her cherished dogs, Willow and Lily.
Preceding Judy in death were her parents, Irene and Jesse Kimball; husband, Joe; one daughter, Amy C. Schnautz and one daughter-in-law, Deb Bremer.
