‘Christmas For Kids’ still going strong
The Staples ‘93 Lions are once again preparing for the annual Christmas for Kids program.
Their goal is to assist where there is a need and to provide holiday joy to children in the Staples-Motley School District that otherwise may not have a Christmas.
The Staples ‘93 Lions ask that, “If you or someone you know could use a little help with Christmas gifts this year, you may pick up an application at Staples-Motley Elementary or Motley-Staples Middle School.” The ages served are birth - age 15.
The application deadline is Nov. 23; and parents or guardians are asked to pick up the gifts on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Staples Community Center.
To make a donation to the Christmas for Kids program, mail your check to Dena Iverson, 523 4th St. NE, Staples, MN, 56479. For more information, call Lion Dena Iverson at 218-296-1312 or Lion Janet Opheim at 218-397-2376.
