Gary Sather

Gary R. Sather, 79, of St. Michael died March 29, 2018 at The Villa of Osseo.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hanover. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. at the church.

Arrangements are by The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael/Buffalo.

Gary was born March 14, 1939, in Staples, to Carl and Roberta (Hammond) Sather. He graduated from Staples High School. He married Vaunda Grove and they were married for 59 years. After retiring as a tool and die/moldmaker, Gary spent much of his time outdoors hunting, fishing and relaxing at the family cabin. He enjoyed playing cribbage with friends.

Gary is survived by his wife; one daughter, Leigh Ann; one son, Mark (Luanne); four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kevin.

Memorials can be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
