Allan Leo Drajna, 73, of Clarissa, passed away March 18, 2019, at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples.
Funeral services were held March 21, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarissa with Fr. Mitchell Bechtold officiating.
Interment was held at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Clarissa.
Allan was born September 11, 1945, in Bertha, to Thomas and Florence (Pogreba) Drajna. He was raised on a dairy farm west of Browerville, graduating from Browerville High School in 1963. Allan married Joann Jambor on October 20, 1967. On June 23, 1981, he married Louise Hill. Allan worked at Land O Lakes in Browerville for 38 years until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed farming, hunting, going to flea markets, toy shows, threshing festivals and collecting farm toys - mostly John Deere.
Allan is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, Jim Drajna and Darin Drajna; one daughter, Janet (Jim) Becker; four step-children, Darlys (Jon) Hamberg, Deanna Genz, Darlene Walstrom, Mike (Jerry) Hosner; two grandchildren, Sammi (Lewis) Becker, Kimberly Becker; six step-grandchildren, Amanda Geraey, Katie Dickman, Jennifer Busma, Elizabeth Genz, Kyle Ellingsworth, Sarah Ellingsworth; two great-grandchildren, Baby Becker and Grace Geraey; one sister, Elaine (Terry) Miller; brother-in-law, David Hall and sister-in-law Betty (Mark) Hill.
Allan is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Dean; infant siblings, Tom and Florence and sister-in-law, Carol Hall.
