Ardis LuConic
Ardis (Nurnberger) LuConic, 89, of Woodbury passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2021.
After a Celebration of Life on May 27, 2022, Ardy will be laid to rest at the Veterans Cemetery, Camp Ripley with her husband.
Ardy was born March 1, 1932, to Robert and Mary Nurnberger in Staples. After graduating from Staples High School in 1950, she was employed by Honeywell Corp. in Minneapolis.
In 1953 she married Andrew LuConic, going on to have two daughters, Antoinette and Tamara, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Next to her faith and family, Ardy’s greatest love was her art. She was obivously an artist from a very young age with some of her first drawings appearing in the Staples High School yearbooks in 1949 and 1950. She loved working with watercolors and had numerous favorite subjects. She was a member of the Crosslake Art Club in Merrifield and enjoyed many friendships there. Her work was shown in art shows and many people lovingly posses it. Her final showings were in her “home” at Woodbury Senior Living Villa, where she taught art to her many friends over the last several years.
She is survived by two daughters, Antoinette LuConic and Tamara Raybern; three grandchildren, Michelle (Brad) More, Anna and Margaret Raybern, three great-grandsons, Oden and Axel More and Kain Erickson; two sisters, Marlys (Bill) Swanson and LoAnn (Mick) Wilhelmson and three brothers, Robert (Ruth), James (Evie) and Jerome (Karen) Nurnberger.
She will be forever loved and remembered.
Ardy joins in heaven, her parents; her husband of 67 years, Andrew and her sister, Joyce Ingebritson.
