Arlene Ludovissie
Arlene E. Ludovissie, 75, of Staples, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, October 2, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital, with her loving family at her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, October 8 at Ted & Gen’s in Aldrich.
Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.
Arlene Elizabeth Bonifas was born on June 2, 1945 in St. Paul, to Arnold and Elizabeth (Heier) Bonifas. Arlene grew up and received her education at Columbia Heights, graduating from high school there in 1963. She was united in marriage to David Ludovissie on February 22, 1967 in Staples. They spent one year in Germany and then lived in the Staples and Wadena areas.
Arlene worked as a receptionist at Resch Tile and Carpet in Staples for many years and also owned and operated her own cleaning business, A Helping Hand, in Staples. Arlene loved socializing, watching movies, decorating and watching her grandkids’ events. She was a nurturing mother and a supportive friend.
She is survived by four children, Dawn (Brian) Meech of Fergus Falls, Paul (Stephanie) Ludovissie of Paducah, KY, Raye (Rebecca) Ludovissie of Verndale, and Lynn (Kurt) Radmacher of Albertville; 13 grandchildren, Jordan, Chantel, Alexis, Matthew, Ceri, Hallie, Austin, Reagen, Megan, Nolan, Jaxon, Cole and Zoe; two great-grandchildren, Dax and Brooks and one brother, Ray (Linda) Bonifas of Ramsey.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents.
