Carol Larson

Carol Jean Larson, 57, of Browerville, passed away March 15, 2017, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life was held March 18, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples.

Arrangements were with the Taylor Funeral Home, Staples.

Carol was born April 17, 1959, in Bertha, to Donald Kozitka and Betty Scott. She married Garold “Gary” Larson on June 26, 1982 at the Congregational Church in Staples. Carol worked at RR Donnelley for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Chris Larson of Long Prairie, Robert Larson, Justin (Nichole) Larson and Daniel (Erica Pilarski-Doolittle) Larson all of Staples; eight grandchildren;  her mother; four sisters, Dawn  (Dan) Paul of Leader, Ann (Denny) Rach of Aitkin,  Patricia Kozitka and Belinda Kozitka both of Little Falls; two brothers, Butch Kozitka and Duane Kozitka, both of Zimmerman and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Susan Paul.
