Carolyn Germann
Carolyn “Cari” R. Germann, 79, of Fargo, ND passed away February 9, 2020 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
At Cari’s request, no funeral or prayer services will be held by the family. Carolyn donated her remains to the University of Minnesota and will be creamated and interred in a common grave provided.
Cari was born March 26, 1941 to Oscar and Laura (Wold) Engdahl. Cari graduated from Staples High School in 1959. She married Norman Hagelstrom and they lived in California. After their divorce, Cari moved back to Staples with her two children. She worked at the Carter-Ringer plant until it closed, then in the business office for Staples Public Schools.
She married Roger Germann and they lived in Staples until retiring. Following their divorce, Cari moved to One Oak Place in Fargo where she made many friends and memories.
She is survived by one son, Brian (Suzanne) Hagelstrom and one daughter Karen (Jeff) Harne; one brother, Richard “Dick” Engdahl of Lady Lake, FL and five grandchildren.
She is preceeded in death by her parents; one brother, Gerald “Pete” (Lucy) Engdahl; one sister, Doris (Will) Guimont; sister-in-law, Margaret Engdahl, late wife of Richard and one nephew, Brad Kruse, Sr.
