Claudia Engdahl

Claudia (Scribner) Engdahl, 69, of Staples, died September 29, 2016, at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.

Claudia Diane was born Sept. 8, 1947 in Staples to Warren and Dorothy (Dahm) Scribner, Jr. She married Darrell Engdahl on June 4, 1977. Claudia worked at Lakewood Health System for 28 years. She enjoyed  her job and  the people she worked with. She enjoyed vacationing with her grandchildren, bingo, knitting, baking, going to the casino and dolphins. 

Claudia is survived by one daughter, Kathy Scribner; one sister, Susan Ehresman; two brothers, Mike Scribner and Steve (Loretta) Scribner; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, other family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandparents and one grandson.
