Craig Myron Dause, 55, of Staples, passed away June 8, 2017 at his home.
Services will be held Saturday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with Paster Kali Christensen officiating. Visitaion will be one hour prior to services.
Craig was born February 12, 1962, in Lodi, CA to Myron and Cheryl (Reutter) Dause. He attended Oak View Elementary School and Galt High School. In his junior year he moved to Staples and graduated from Staples High School. After high school Craig returned to Lodi and worked for Valley Industries. He moved back to Minnesota in 1991 and ran a lawn care business. Craig enjoyed welding, working on cars, tinkering in his garage, motorcycleing, fishing, hunting and being with his 17 grandchildren.
Craig is survived by his wife, Kia (Holsapple) Dause; parents; two sons, John Hansen and Shawn Dause; one daughter, Casey Dause-Pruitt; one brother, Mark (Laura) Dause; one sister, Tamera (Robert) Musolino; and 17 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Cayla Dause; grandparents, Elmer and Esther Ruetter; uncle, Rick; and niece, Katie Dause.
