Dale Noble
Dale “Art” Noble, 80, of Motley, passed away September 28, 2017, at Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples.
Services were held October 2 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Motley with Father Joe Korf officiating.
Military Honors were provided by Motley American Legion Post #124.
Arrangements were by Brenny Funeral Home, Staples.
Art was born October 1, 1936 in Hay Springs, NE to Dale “Jack” and Helen (Barth) Noble. He grew up in the Sand Hills of Nebraska and later moved with his family to Minnesota. Art served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He won several championships in professional bronc riding and rodeos in Nebraska. Art had a real passion for his ranch, bronc riding and rodeos and he also enjoyed fishing and firearms. Most important to him was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Art is survived by three sons, Quincey (Roxanne) Noble of Stockton, CA, Steven Noble of Los Angeles, CA and Luke (Amber) Noble of Motley; three grandchildren, Wade, Cody and Elizabeth; one sister, Maxine (Marvin) Farmer of Rapid City, SD.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ione and Donna.
