David Guelker

David Lee Guelker, 66, passed away in July, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

A memorial service will be held Sat., September 22, at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bartlett Township, Todd County. 

Graveside service will follow.

David was born March 6, 1952, in Ortonville, Big Stone County, to William and Nina Guelker. He graduated from Staples High School and aviation school in Thief River Falls. He married Diana Gaugert at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bartlett Township, in April, 1974.

David enjoyed talking  to his family and friends on the telephone. He was a walking dictionary of Western movies, could sing the theme song for most of them, name the actors and what other shows they appeared in. He liked working on cars and selling auto parts was a natural occupation.

Dave was on dialysis three days a week for the last four years. 

He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Karen Blomstand and Diane Bredeweg and one brother, Terry (Diana).

David was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sharen and one brother, Doug.
