Dezerae Trana

Dezerae (Dezi) Trana, 32, of Staples passed away peacefully in her sleep, February 27, 2017 at home. 

Services for Dezerae will be held Friday, March 3 at 11 a.m. at the Motley Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Thurs., March 2 at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. and again one hour prior to the services. 

Interment will be at Motley Public Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.

Dezerae was born July 4, 1984 in Staples to Dennis and Ramona (Dukowitz) Trana. She graduated with the Class of 2002, from Staples Motley High School. Dezerae worked at Giovanni’s Pizza, as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lakewood Health System Home Care and Hospice in Staples, and part time at Twisted Sisters and Local Legends. She lived life to the fullest, always with a smile and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Dezerae enjoyed coloring, tubing, camping, spending time with her family, friends and her fur babies, Ruger and Fat Jerry.

Dezerae is survived by her parents; one brother, Denny of Staples and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ron and Bev Dukowitz and Tom and Barb Trana; two uncles, Ron Dukowitz and Ron Gustafson and one cousin, Rollie Gustafson.                w9c A00006B2017MA02
