Dwight Eggert

Dwight J. Eggert, 73, of Motley passed away September 21, 2017 from complications of Parkinson’s and Dementia.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Motley Free Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the church. 

Private interment will be held at Wendall Hills Cemetery in Milaca.

Arrangements are with the Taylor Funeral Home of Staples.

Dwight was born in Milaca on November 16, 1943 to Alvin and Dorothy (Stanchfield) Eggert. Dwight was passionate about his sales profession, enjoyed being outdoors, his many “projects”  and was proud of his red 1957 Ford Thunderbird. He loved his family, close to his heart were his friends, church family and pets.

He is survived by his wife Judy; three daughters, Stacey (Mike) Basse of Seattle, Lori (Jeff) Maus of Waverly and Paula Konczal of Elk River; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; three brothers, Curt (Deb) Eggert of Brainerd, Dennis (Dian) Eggert of Crosby and Roger (Chris) Eggert of Isle; many family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Joel.
