Erma Veith

Erma Airielle (Sigman) Veith, 98, passed away December 18, 2020 at Door County medical Center in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Erma will be laid to rest in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples at a later date.

Erma was born in Velva, North Dakota on June 13, 1922 to Harry and Selma Sigman. She was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bowbells. She walked with The Lord until her death. She was a graduate of Bowbells North Dakota High School, class of 1940.

Erma was known for her beautiful needlework and embroidery. Family members were delighted to receive these treasures. Her handmade quilts and many other items of her creative handiwork continue to be enjoyed by everyone who received them and have become family heirlooms.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents; former husbands; four children, Annette (Bill) Zelinski; infant son, Stanley Palmer Hovde and two infant sons; three sisters, Beatrice (Don) Ostlund, Mabel (Ted) Iverson and Inez Marengo; one brother, Clarence Sigman and other relatives.
