Eugene Stoll

Eugene Stoll, 80, of Pine River, formerly of Staples, passed away October 13, 2017 at his home.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. A luncheon will follow services at the Pine River American Legion. 

Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.

Eugene was born to Eugene Sr. and Inez Stoll,  July 2, 1937 in Chicago. Gene married Ann Sherpherd on August 29, 1960. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force, before his 21 year career as an engineer for several different railroads. Gene was a member of the Pine River and Backus American Legions. He enjoyed planes, boats, cars, photography and travel.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dale Stoll of Staples and Scott Stoll (Michele) of Missoula, Montana; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Donna Stoll and granddaughter, Bridgett Stoll.
