Faye Case
Faye Evelyn Case, 85, of Staples, passed away at the Lakewood Health System Memory Care on Sunday, April 8, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 12 at Faith Lutheran Church, Staples. Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
Arrangements are by Brenny Funeral Chapel, Staples.
Faye was born to Daniel and Marian (Kisler) Spencer at the family home in Crow Wing County on April 2, 1933. The family moved to Staples around 1940. She graduated from Staples High School in 1951. In 1952, she married Cyril “Bruce” Case. She worked as a telephone operator for a short time. The couple raised eight children in Staples, with Faye as the CEO/COO. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, gardening, music and watching the Twins baseball team. She especially loved caring for a being with her family.
She is survived by six sons, Lanny of Maple Grove, Mark of Staples, Dave (Cheryl) of Hemet, Cal., Mike (Becky) of Austin, Craig (Karmen) of Webster, SD and Ron (Jamie) of Staples; three sisters, Carol and Jeanie, both of Staples and Barb of Glendon; two brothers, Lonny of Semmes, Ala. and Dan of North Oaks.
She is preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Barb and Suzanne; parents; three sisters, Edith, Sue and Nancy; brother, Craig and a number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
