Geraldine “Gerry” Nelson, 89, passed away February 1, 2022, in Minnetonka.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 16 at 12 p.m. at the Brenny Family funeral Chapel in Staples.
Gerry was born January 27, 1933, to George and Nora (Engen) Nelson in Wadena County. Gerry lived in New Hope until she passed away from cancer.
Gerry is survived by one sister, Penny Veilleux, of Minnetonka; one sister-in-law, Vernone Nelson, of Hoyt Lakes; one brother-in-law, Marvin Greenwaldt, of Maple Grove and 12 wonderful nieces and nephews.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; one niece and one nephew.
Arrangements are by the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples.
