Glen Wentworth, 69, died Friday, December 27, 2019.
Funeral services will be held in the spring of 2020. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples.
Glen was born May 21, 1950 in Staples to Leo and Lila (Vetruba) Wentworth. He graduated from Staples High School in 1969. After graduation Glen enlisted in the Air Force and proudly served his country in Vietnam and the Philippines, where he received commendations for exceptional leadership in Air Freight management. After his honorable discharge in 1975, Glen joined the Army National Guard in Wyoming. For many years he worked on the oil rigs. Also while in Wyoming, Glen earned his Respiratory Therapy Certification, making the Dean’s list several times. He was passionate about playing golf, pinochle, fishing and did some oil paintings of family members. He was very musically gifted and shared his guitar and vocal talents at many events. He has also written some amazing Christian songs that we will keep in our hearts forever. Much of his adult life was spent in Wyoming and Montana.
Glen is survived by his siblings, Gordon of Lewistown, MT; Sandee (John) of Eau Claire, WI, Richard of Cushing, MN, Carol (Fred) of Cushing, MN and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary..
